ROPPONGI
Neighborhood in Tokyo
Best known for its lavish buildings, entertainment and vibrant nightlife, Roppongi is where you'll find many bars, luxe hotels and nightclubs, making it a popular area among the expat community (we even ran into a friend from NYC while walking around!) Here, you can explore and appreciate the modern side of Tokyo through its shopping, museums, theatres and incredible views of the skyline and Tokyo Tower from the Tokyo City View (Sky Deck).
Roppongi Hills
Huge urban development that’s basically a city within a city. It has restaurants, high-end boutiques, a theatre, museum, park, pond and even a beer garden in the summer.
Tokyo City View
Sky-high observation deck with an indoor gallery and open-air rooftop that offers insane panoramic views of the city.
Mori Art Museum
Located in the same building & floor as Tokyo City View, you can enter the museum with the same ticket as the observation deck. When we were there they had a cool exhibit going on, that we could have spent hours in.
