S'mores Challah French Toast
A nostalgic flavor combination that brings back memories of childhood, yet is still hard to resist, even as an adult.

With just a few simple steps, you can enjoy s’mores for breakfast.
No campfire needed.
INGREDIENTS

8 slices of challah
-
3 eggs
-
1 cup non-dairy milk (may sub heavy cream)

1 tsp cinnamon
-
2 tbsp vanilla extract
-
¼ tsp salt
-
2 bars of dark chocolate
-
1/4 cup of coconut oil (melted)
-
6 Marshmallows (sliced in half)
-
1-2 cups graham cracker crumbs
DIRECTIONS

Slice Challah (approx 3/4 inch thick)

Beat eggs and mix in milk, cinnamon, salt & vanilla extract
-
Melt chocolate in microwavable bowl for 1 min
-
Pour melted coconut oil into chocolate, mix until smooth

Dip one side of 2 slices of challah into chocolate mixture
-
Add 6 marshmallow halves on top of chocolate side of the challah & sandwich the two pieces of bread
-
Dip sandwich in batter (and let soak for at least 30 sec)

Dip battered sandwich into graham cracker crumbs on both sides

Heat pan over medium heat and add butter or oil to pan
-
Add sandwich to pan and flip once cooked on both sides

Top the sandwich with marshmallow halves, and in roast in oven at 350 for about 3 min (until marshmallows are golden)

Drizzle additional chocolate sauce overtop & enjoy!
