White Bear
Home to some of the most flavorful wontons in the city, at this tiny dumpling shop, it’s all about item #6: "wontons in hot oil".
Their light, juicy pork & vegetable wontons get dressed up in a not-so-spicy chili oil, ground up roasted chili & nubs of funky, salty preserved mustard root. They're as flavorful a plate of wontons as you could hope for.

Their “Muslim lamb chop” is a must order— it's braised, battered, deep-fried ribs encrusted with tons of spices (cumin seeds, dried chiles, mixed sesame seeds)...like the "everything bagel of Mongolia".
