JING FONG
NEW YORK
BEST FOR
INFO
With an escalator leading you up to its grand cruise-ship-like dining room, no one does old-school Chinatown dim sum on a more absurdly grand scale than Jing Fong. For weekend brunch, expect to wait, as people line up around the block to sit a table as bamboo steamers toppled high onto whizzing carts for as far as the eye can see. What’s not to love? The food itself is appealing in an unfamiliar and fun sort of way; There’s lots of variety of dishes, at crazy low prices, so you'll fill your table up quickly without breaking the bank.
(update) Their newer UWS location offers similar dishes in a traditional sit-down environment.
